What the heck _is_ wrong with this country?
SPD 34,2% (-4,3%)
CDU/CSU 35,2% (-3,3%)
Green Party 8,1% (-0,5%)
FDP 9,8% (+2,4%)
Communists 8,7% (+4,7%)
Clear messages sent by the people to the politicians:
“We want to get rid of the current government, but we don’t want a different government.”
“We don’t want any changes but the parties proposing the biggest changes win.”
“40 years of dictatorship in the east aren’t enough. We re-elect our oppressors.”
It is time to leave this country. Emigration looks like a real option now.

I do not believe things are much better elsewhere, unfortunately. Let me know if you find the one place with a sane government
