Day 17 - To the Grampians

IMG_3418.JPG

Left Kingston early this morning for the Grampians, where we finally hope to see serious numbers of ‘roos and other animals. Drove through Connawarra valley and did some wine testing (the first really good white wine that I had in Australia), however due to self-driving we could not drink as much as we wanted to.Came into Halls Gap in the middle of the evening and right in front of the reception at the lodge were the first kangaroos sitting. Twenty minutes later, another ‘roo didn’t even stir us any longer. Didn’t do much else today.
